In the last week, Instagram announced that it’s doubling the period for which analytics data is available.
A tweet from Vishal Shah, VP of Product at Instagram, said:
“PSA: there’s a new calendar tool in Insights
It lets you to choose a custom date range for your account metrics – and we’re doubling the timeframe to 60 days for now (it’ll be 90 later this summer). We’ll keep making updates based on feedback and share more when we can.”
The tweet was accompanied by the image included in this post. As you can see, it shows that Instagram has added a new calendar tool within its Insights; users will be able to access this calendar when they navigate into the date range tools. Users will still be able to measure results based on set blocks of time, but soon, they’ll also be able to enter a custom, expanded time period for the metrics to be shown.
Currently, Creator Studio and Business Suite are still limited to the previous 30-day capacity. It’s likely, though, that these outlets will get the expanded data, too. This means users will be able to manage Facebook and Instagram marketing and analytics in one spot.
As usual, the rollout may take a bit of time to reach all users. So make sure to keep your app up-to-date. And if you need assistance with your Instagram marketing, use the button below to give us a shout and see if we’re a good fit for your needs!
